The Frazzled Mom

I took a little nap on the couch while Adam was sleeping. Ethan was playing his DS and Deanna was watching tv.

Ethan:I was good while you were sleeping.

Me:I wasn’t really sleeping, just resting.

Ethan:So you were fake snoring?

Hmm……..

Yesterday was a typical Mother’s Day for me. Jon was at work. The kids were wild. *shrug* Jon asked the kids what they wanted to get me for Mother’s Day. Adam said he wanted to get me a ball, and Deanna said she wanted to get me a seat. Ethan made something cute at school. So, at about 3:30 Jon comes home with a bag of balls and a beach chair. It was to funny! We had anice afternoon. Jon cooked brats and we had dinner. Then the kids and I hung out and watched tv as On worked on the swing set. It is coming along, the kids are so excited to have it together!

Deanna turns 4 this week! I can’t believe it! We got her pictures done and she did an amazing job. I was so proud of her! On Saturday we are having her party. She wanted to have a fairy party, so everything is Tinkerbell themed. I may pick up some tulle to decorate with, but I am unsure of how I want to use it. Hopefully I will get some pictures to post!

Someone asked me the other day if I knew anything about Deanna’s “natural” parents. I reminded them that I may be crazy at times, but I am definitely natural. It reminded me of this:

Natural Child:
Any child who is not artificial.

Real Parent:
Any parent who is not imaginary.

someone else’s child.

Life has been a bit crazy lately. With the holidays here and gone, I finally have a break to sit down. I have been playing with tubes from Rosey Posey Pixels, but nothing has come out of that yet. I have been working on the carnival for Ethan’s school. I am excited for it to come. We booked a really great magician, Andrew Martin, and have the company set to bring the games and such. I just have to come up with a few other things and we are all set! (:
The kids are doing good. They all had a wonderful holiday. It was nice not having to worry about wondering if the next holiday was going to come. I know they will be here, and that is a wonderful feeling.
Adam is getting so big! He is talking up a storm, and he is quite the little singer too! LOL! His current favorite is Old McDonald. In his version though Old McDonald has only a cow, moose and a Daddy on his farm. (:
Deanna is doing well. She isn’t growing still, and I am sure they are going to want to start tube feeding again. I am bummed about that, but I want her to be healthy and if that is what it takes……
Ethan is doing great in school. His behavior is has really come a long way, and he seems happier along with the better behavior.
Well, that is it for now. I still have to get pictures uploaded…..I suppose one day soon I will have to do that!
